Cluster Plus Project Evaluation
The "Cluster +" model seeks to respond well to this limitation when configuring a global value chain (international approach) which consists of parts of other value chains (multisectoral approach) that working together allow boost differential product / service, and even lead to new market segments (radical innovations).
For the success of a global value chain configuration within Cluster + model is essential to consider it in terms of intercluster collaboration at an international level. A leap towards technological convergence and "hybrid" activities ("cross-hybridization"), it is not possible within the cluster itself (since all agents share the same specialization), but in cooperation with other clusters of different technological domains and activities which in turn, as noted above, necessarily shall be located at different locations.
The configuration of a composed global value chain lies in integrating the links required, regardless of their location.
